Well, what can I say?

This release has taken me countless hours of fiddling with restoration crap.
Enjoy damnit! :p

Thanks to herbman75 @ thepiratebay for ripping the vinyls.

Regardless of how bad the rip was, it's still rare music, right?

This torrent is my attempt at restoring his torrent.

I know some of it still doesn't sound that fantastic, but for comparative purposes I've included a sample of the unrestored tracks, so you can see what I was working with. Hopefully you can enjoy it regardless of the quality :)

Sadly the restoration process did remove some of the artificial reverb someone had added to it. For some reason someone in V2 Records must have decided that a soundboard-sourced recording needed some ambience, because on parts when Jack is just singing, they added a massive reverb -.-, while only putting mild reverb on the rest.

Also, I included a perspective-corrected pic of the vinyl cover (original pic also posted by herbman75)

If you want to know more about this release, check out the following included files:

original info.txt is the info uploaded with the original (unrestored) torrent on thepiratebay.
tracks.txt is a list taken from whitestripes.com, detailing the gig. I added track numbers and showed the split between vinyl sides.
restoration.txt is an almost complete list of what I did to restore this (read if you dare, for some of it even I don't know what I was writing, but it must have been important at the time).

Enjoy!

The original is better.
"Regardless of how bad the rip was"? I don't know what your problem is man. I ripped this shit, and it sounded fine without any help from you. No, my needle didn't "jump the groove" when I recorded it. No one from V2 "added any reverb". If there is any distortion, it came from Jack's amp - you know, like it would sound like if you were actually there. You are just attention whore-ing trying to fix something that isn't broken. I have listened to this LP on three different turn tables and it sounds the same on all of them. If you own the record, what you will hear when you listen to it is the same as the original torrent I uploaded. Quit being a douchebag already.
